Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Employment Subsidies Act 1978 (Renewal) (Great Britain) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 1st January 1989.

Section 2Renewal

The powers of section 1 of the Employment Subsidies Act 1978 shall be renewed for Great Britain until the expiration of the period ending with 30th June 1990.
