Section 1Citation and Commencement
These Regulations may be cited as the Family Credit (Transitional) Amendment Regulations 1988 and shall come into force on 20th February 1988.

Section 2Amendment of regulations 6 and 7 of the Family Credit (Transitional) Regulations 1987
In regulations 6(1) and 7 of the Family Credit (Transitional) Regulations 1987 (determination of circumstances where family credit replaces family income supplement or is claimed before 11th April 1988) for the words “section 20(5)” wherever they occur there shall be substituted the words “sections 20(5) and 22(6)”.
