Section 1
This Order may be cited as the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1984 (Continuance) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 22nd March 1988.

Section 2
In this Order, “the temporary provisions of the Act of 1984 ” means sections 1 to 13, 14 (except in so far as it relates to orders under subsection (2)(a) or (b) of section 17) and 17(2)(c) of the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1984 and Schedules 1 to 3 thereto.
Section 3
The temporary provisions of the Act of 1984 shall continue in force for a period of twelve months beginning with 22nd March 1988.
