Section 1
This Order may be cited as the Water Byelaws (Extension) (Scotland) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 1st April 1988.

Section 2
Any byelaws made by local water authorities under section 60 of the Water (Scotland) Act 1946( ) which would, but for this Order, cease to have effect before 31st December 1988 shall remain in force until that date.
