Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Upper Spey and Associated Waters Protection (Renewal) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 15th March 1988.

Section 2 Interpretation

In this Order—

“the 1982 Order ” means the Upper Spey and Associated Waters Protection Order 1982( ); and

“the 1985 Order ” means the Upper Spey and Associated Waters Protection (Renewal) Order 1985( ).

Section 3 Renewal of Order

The 1985 Order is hereby renewed.

Section 4 Prohibition

During the period from 15th March 1988 to 6th October 1990, both dates inclusive, fishing for or taking freshwater fish in the inland waters in the area prescribed in article 4 of the 1982 Order, without legal right or without written permission from a person having such a right, is hereby prohibited.
