Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Unemployment Benefit (Disqualification Period) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 11th April 1988.

Section 2Alteration of period of disqualification

In section 20(1) of the Social Security Act 1975 (other disqualifications, etc ) for the figure “13” there shall be substituted the figure “26”.
