These Regulations may be cited as the Social Security (Attendance Allowance) Amendment Regulations 1988 and shall come into force on 7th April 1988.

The Social Security (Attendance Allowance) Amendment Regulations 1988
In regulation 6(2) of the Social Security (Attendance Allowance) (No. 2) Regulations 1975 —
(a) in sub-paragraph (d), for the words“in both places where that word appears” there shall be substituted the words“in section 35(1)(a)(ii)”, and
(b) after sub-paragraph (d) there shall be inserted the following sub-paragraph—
(e) after the words“watching over him” there were inserted the words“(these requirements being substantially in excess of the requirements normally placed upon another person by a child of the same age and sex).”
