Section 1
(1) This Order may be cited as the Antarctic Treaty (Specially Protected Areas) Order 1988.
(2) This Order shall come into force on 22nd April 1988.

The Antarctic Treaty (Specially Protected Areas) Order 1988
Section 2
For the purposes of the Antarctic Treaty Act 1967, the areas specified in the Schedule to this Order, being areas which have been recommended for inclusion in Annex B to Schedule 2 to the said Act, are designated as Specially Protected Areas.
Section 3
The Schedule to the Antarctic Treaty (Specially Protected Areas) Order 1968 is amended by the deletion of the description and map of Specially Protected Area No. 7 (Cape Hallett, Victoria Land).
