Section 1
These Regulations may be cited as the Weights and Measures (Quantity Marking and Abbreviations of Units) (Amendment) Regulations 1988 and shall come into force on 1st May 1988.

The Weights and Measures (Quantity Marking and Abbreviations of Units) (Amendment) Regulations 1988
Section 2
The Weights and Measures (Quantity Marking and Abbreviations of Units) Regulations 1987 are hereby amended as follows:—
(a) in Regulation 4, paragraph (2) is deleted;
(b) in Regulation 5, paragraph (2) is deleted; and
(c) in Regulation 7(3), subparagraph (b) is deleted.
