Section 1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the North West Water Authority (Wilmslow and Alderley Edge) Order 1988 and shall come into force on the 21st January 1988.

Section 2Repeal of local enactment

Section 61 of the Stockport Corporation Water Act 1899 (which provides for the Corporation to soften and clarify the water supplied by them) shall cease to have effect.
