Section 1
This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Confirmation of Legislation) (Cayman Islands) Order 1988 and shall come into force on 23rd June 1988.

The Merchant Shipping (Applicable Conventions) Law, 1987 enacted by the Legislature of the Cayman Islands, as amended by the Merchant Shipping (Applicable Conventions) (Amendment) Law, 1987 , is hereby confirmed.
