Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Heavy Goods Vehicles (Drivers' Licences) (Amendment) Regulations 1988 and shall come into force on 27th June 1988.

Section 2

The Heavy Goods Vehicles (Drivers' Licences) Regulations 1977 shall be further amended in accordance with the following provisions of these Regulations.

Section 3

In regulation 23 (Fees for tests), for “£40” there shall be substituted “£42”.

Section 4

In regulation 24(b) (Refund of fees), for the word “three” there shall be substituted the word “ten”.

Section 5

Regulation 4 of these Regulations shall not apply in respect of the cancellation of an appointment made before 27th June 1988.
