Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Sheriff Court Fees Amendment Order 1988 and shall come into force on 1st July 1988.

Section 2

Article 7 of the Sheriff Court Fees Order 1985( ) shall be amended by substituting, for paragraphs (a) to (c), the following:—

(a) income support or family credit under Part II of the Social Security Act 1986( ); or (b) advice and assistance from a solicitor under the Legal Aid (Scotland) Act 1986( ) in respect of the simplified divorce application.
