Section 1Citation, commencement and application
This order may be cited as the Rate Limitation (Designation of Authorities) (Exemption) (Wales) Order 1988, and shall come into force on 28th June 1988. It applies to Wales only.

The Rate Limitation (Designation of Authorities) (Exemption) (Wales) Order 1988
Section 2Exemption from designation
The amount of £13.2 million is hereby substituted for the amount of £12.1 million specified in section 2(2)(a) of the Rates Act 1984.
Section 3Exemption from designation
The Rate Limitation (Designation of Authorities) (Exemption) (Wales) (No.2) Order 1987 which specifies the amount of £12.1 million, is revoked.
