Section 1Citation and interpretation

(1) These Rules may be cited as the Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors (Health Visitors—Admission to Training) Amendment Rules 1989.

(2) In these Rules “the principal Rules ” means the Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors Rules 1983 .

Section 2Amendment of the principal Rules

(1) Rule 22 of the principal Rules (conditions of admission to training for registration) shall be amended in accordance with the following provision of these Rules.

(2) Sub-paragraph (b) of paragraph (1) shall be omitted.
