(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Prosecution of Offences (Custody Time Limits) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1989.
(2) In these Regulations “the principal regulations” means the Prosecution of Offences (Custody Time Limits) Regulations 1987 and “the amendment regulations” means the Prosecution of Offences (Custody Time Limits) (Amendment) Regulations 1989 .
(3) These Regulations shall come into force on 31st July 1989.
The principal regulations shall have effect as if in regulation 2 of the amendment regulations for “Northumbria” there had been substituted “Northumberland” and after the entry for Suffolk there had been inserted “Tyne and Wear”.
