Section 1
These Rules may be cited as the Poisons (Amendment) Rules 1989 and shall come into force on 1st March 1989.

Section 2
(1) The Poisons Rules 1982 shall be amended in accordance with the following provisions of this Rule.
(2) In the proviso to rule 6(3), for the words “twenty-four” there shall be substituted the words “seventy-two”.
(3) Rule 23 shall be omitted.
