Section 1Citation

(1) This Order may be cited as the Health and Medicines Act 1988 (Commencement No. 5) Order 1989.

(2) In this Order, “the 1988 Act ” means the Health and Medicines Act 1988.

Section 2Days appointed

(1) The 6th July 1989 is the day appointed for the coming into force of subsections (1), (3), (8) and (9) of section 14 of the 1988 Act (duties to be performed on sight-testing).

(2) The 31st July 1989 is the day appointed for the coming into force of subsections (2), (4), (5), (6) and (7) of section 14 of the 1988 Act.
