The A6 London–Inverness Trunk Road (Barton Seagrave to West of Kettering) Detrunking Order 1989

Section 1

The lengths of the trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order and shown by broad striped hatching on the deposited plan shall cease to be trunk road and shall be classified as classified road as from the date on which the Secretary of State notifies the County Council of Northamptonshire that the new trunk road is open for through traffic.

Section 2

In this Order–

(1) All measurements of distance measured along the route of the relevant highway;

(2)

(i) “classified road”

(ii) “the deposited plan”

(iii) “the new trunk road”

(iv) “the trunk road”

Section 3

This Order shall come into force on 10th August 1989 and may be cited as the A6 London–Inverness Trunk Road (Barton Seagrave to West of Kettering) Detrunking Order 1989.
