This Order may be cited as the Cereals Marketing Act (Application to Oilseeds) Order 1989 and shall come into force on 14th August 1989.

The Cereals Marketing Act (Application to Oilseeds) Order 1989
Rapeseed, linseed, soyabean and sunflowerseed, being crops falling within section 6(2) of the Agriculture Act 1986, are hereby specified as being crops to which the Cereals Marketing Act 1965 shall apply.
Section 24 of the Cereals Marketing Act 1965 is hereby amended in accordance with the following provisions of this Order.
(1) In subsection (2)–
(a) in the definition of “home-grown cereals” for the words “or triticale” there shall be substituted the words “, triticale, rapeseed, linseed, soyabean or sun-flowerseed”; and
(b) in the definition of “year” for the words “1st August” there shall be substituted the words “1st July”.
(2) In subsection (3) for the words “and triticale” there shall be substituted the words, “, triticale, rapeseed, linseed, soyabean and sunflowerseed”.
