Section 1Citation and commencement

(1) This Act of Sederunt may be cited as the Act of Sederunt (Registration Appeal Court) 1989 and shall come into force on 7th August 1989.

(2) This Act of Sederunt shall be inserted in the Books of Sederunt.

Section 2Registration Appeal Court

From the date this Act of Sederunt comes into force, the court of three judges for hearing registration appeals under section 57 of the Representation of the People Act 1983 shall be the Honourable Lord Dunpark, the Honourable Lord Cowie and the Right Honourable the Lord Morton of Shuna.
