Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Telecommunications Act 1984 (Extension of Relevant Period) (No. 2) Order 1989 and shall come into force on 4th August 1989.

Section 2

The relevant period for the purposes of paragraph 1 of Schedule 5 to the Telecommunications Act 1984 shall be eight years beginning with 5th August 1984.
