Section 1

The County Council of the Royal County of Berkshire A329 Relief Road Special Road Scheme 1989 is hereby confirmed without modifications.

Section 2

The said Scheme as confirmed (hereinafter referred to as “the Scheme”) is set out in the Schedule hereto and copies of the Scheme with its accompanying plans are deposited at the offices of the Department of Transport, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY and at the offices of the County Council of Berkshire at Shire Hall, Shinfield Park, Reading, Berkshire.

Section 3

The Scheme will become operative on the date on which notice that it has been confirmed is first published in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 2 to the Highways Act 1980.

Section 4

This Instrument may be cited as the County Council of the Royal County of Berkshire A329 Relief Road Special Road Scheme 1988 Confirmation Instrument 1989.

Section 1

The Council are authorised to provide along the route described in this Scheme a special road for the use of traffic of Classes I and II of the classes set out in Schedule 4 to the said Act as amended.

Section 2

The centre line of the special road is indicated by the heavy black line on the deposited plan.
