Section 1
This Order may be cited as the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 (Modification) Order 1989 and shall come into force on 18th September 1989.

The Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 (Modification) Order 1989
Section 2
Schedule 2 to the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 (which, as amended , specifies the drugs which are subject to control under that Act) shall be amended by the insertion in paragraph 1 of Part III of that Schedule–
(a) after the word “Bromazepam”, of the word “Buprenorphine”, and
(b) after the word “Oxazolam”, of the word “Pemoline”.
