These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Cars (Driving Instruction) (Amendment) Regulations 1989 and shall come into force on 1st September 1989.

The Motor Cars (Driving Instruction) (Amendment) Regulations 1989
The Motor Cars (Driving Instruction) Regulations 1977 shall be further amended as follows.
In regulation 6, after sub-paragraph (c) there shall be inserted the following sub-paragraph–
(ca) the theory of learning and the theory and practice of teaching and assessment;
In regulation 7A, for sub-paragraph (c) there shall be substituted the following sub-paragraph–
(c) the vehicle shall not, during the conduct of any driving ability and fitness test, carry the distinguishing mark referred to in regulation 9(1)(b) of the Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) Regulations 1987 or anything resembling such a distinguishing mark.
In the Table in regulation 13, for the entry in column 4 of items 3, 5 and 6 there shall be substituted in each case “£110”.
