Section 1Citation and commencement
These Regulations may be cited as the Local Government Act 1988 (Defined Activities) (Competition) (Wales) (Variation) Regulations 1989 and shall come into force on 3rd March 1989.

In paragraphs (3) and (4) of regulation 3 of the Local Government Act 1988 (Defined Activities) (Competition) (Wales) Regulations 1988 after the words “functional work” there shall be inserted the words “in Wales”.
