Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors (Parts of the Register) Amendment (No. 2) Order 1989 and shall come into force on 1st September 1989.

Section 2Amendment of Order
(1) The Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors (Parts of the Register) Order 1983 , shall be amended in accordance with the following paragraphs of this article.
(2) After article 1 (citation and commencement) there shall be inserted the following article:
Interpretation
(1A) In this Order the expression “course of preparation” shall have the same meaning as in the Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors Rules 1983 .
(3) In Schedule 1 (Parts of the Register) after the entry for “Part 11 — Health visitors” there shall be added the following entries:–
