Section 1
These Regulations may be cited as the Financial Services (Schemes Authorised in Designated Countries or Territories) (Notification) Regulations 1989 and shall come into force on 1st October 1989.

The Financial Services (Schemes Authorised in Designated Countries or Territories) (Notification) Regulations 1989
Section 2
The period prescribed for the purposes of section 87(3) of the Financial Services Act 1986 with respect to any notice given under that section on or after the date on which these Regulations come into force shall be the period of four months.
Section 3
The Financial Services (Schemes Authorised in Designated Countries or Territories) (Notification) Regulations 1988 are revoked except insofar as they have effect for the purposes of notices given under section 87(3) of the Financial Services Act 1986 before the date on which these Regulations come into force.
