Section 1

The Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford Canal Bridge) Scheme 1987 is hereby confirmed without modifications.

Section 2

The said Scheme as confirmed (hereinafter referred to as “the Scheme”) is set out in the Schedule hereto and copies of the Scheme with its accompanying plans are deposited at the offices of the Secretary of State for Transport; at the offices of the Oxfordshire County Council, County Hall, Oxford; at the offices of Cherwell District Council, Bodicote House, Bodicote, Banbury and at Banbury Library, Marlborough Road, Banbury.

Section 3

The Scheme will become operative on the date on which notice that it has been confirmed is first published in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 2 to the Highways Act 1980.

Section 4

This Instrument may be cited as the Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford Canal, Bridge) Scheme 1987 Confirmation Instrument 1989.

Section 1

The Council are authorised to construct over the navigable waters of the Oxford Canal the bridge specified in the Schedule to this scheme as part of the highway which they are proposing to construct between Bridge Street (A361) and Hennef Way (A422) as part of the Banbury Inner Relief Road network in the parish of Banbury in the County of Oxfordshire.

This Scheme may be cited as the Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford Canal, Bridge) Scheme 1987.
