The A6 Trunk Road (Market Harborough Bypass) Detrunking Order 1989

Section 1

On the operative date–

(1) each of the lengths of trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order and shown on the deposited plan by broad striped hatching and by the reference letter opposite the description in that Schedule shall cease to be a trunk road;

(2) the lengths of trunk road in respect of which the reference letters A and D are stated shall become classified as a classified road;

(3) the length of trunk road in respect of which the reference letter C is stated shall become classified as a principal road.

In this Order–

(i) “principal road”

(ii) “classified road”

(iii) “the deposited plan”

(iv) “the operative date”

Section 3

This order shall come into force on 26th October 1989 and may be cited as The A6 Trunk Road (Market Harborough Bypass) Detrunking Order 1989.

Section 1

From a point 80 metres north west of the junction with Melton Road (B6047) to the southern extremity of the junction with the B4036 Fairfield Road.

Section 2

From the junction with the B4036 Fairfield Road to the north corner of The Square in Market Harborough.

Section 3

From the north corner of The Square in Market Harborough to the junction with St Mary’s Road.

Section 4

From the junction with St Mary’s Road to a point 530 metres east of the junction with Shrewsbury Avenue.
