Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Macduff (Pilotage Powers) Order 1989, and shall come into force on 1st November 1989.

Section 2 Interpretation

In this Order “the Council” means the Grampian Regional Council and “the harbour of Macduff” means the Macduff Harbour Area as defined in Schedule 1 of the Grampian Regional Council (Harbours) Order 1987 confirmed by the Grampian Regional Council (Harbours) Order Confirmation Act 1987 .

Section 3 Application of Pilotage Act 1987

The Council shall be a competent harbour authority in respect of the harbour of Macduff for the purposes of the Pilotage Act 1987.
