Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1989.

Section 2

The following provisions of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 shall come into force on November 29, 1989–
section 1(5) and (6) (power to make regulations)
section 2 (politically restricted posts)
