The Combined Probation Areas (Lancashire) Order 1989

Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Combined Probation Areas (Lancashire) Order 1989 and shall come into force on 1st December 1989.

Section 2

That part of Schedule 2 to the Combined Probation Areas Order 1986 which relates to the Lancashire Probation Committee shall be amended by substituting in column 3–

(a) “3” for “2” in the entry in respect of the petty sessional division of Burnley;

(b) “2” for “1” in the entry in respect of the petty sessional division of Darwen;

(c) “2” for “1” in the entry in respect of the petty sessional division of Fylde;

(d) “3” for “2” in the entry in respect of the petty sessional division of Ormskirk;

(e) “3” for “4” in the entry in respect of the petty sessional division of Preston;

(f) “2” for “1” in the entry in respect of the petty sessional division of Ribble Valley; and

(g) “3” for “2” in the entry in respect of the petty sessional division of South Ribble.
