Section 1Title and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (No. 2) (Amendment) Order 1989 and shall come into force on 31st December 1989.

Section 2Amendment

Paragraph (4) of article 8 of the Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (No. 2) Order 1988 (which provides that the prohibition of the sale, supply and use of certain feedingstuffs for feeding to ruminating animals shall cease to have effect on 1st January 1990) shall be omitted.
