Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Home Purchase Assistance (Recognised Lending Institutions) (No. 3) Order 1989 and shall come into force on 9th December 1989.

Section 2

The following bodies are hereby added to the list in section 447(1) of the Housing Act 1985:
(a) Halifax Loans Limited
(b) BNP Mortgages Limited.
