Section 1Citation and Commencement

These Rules may be cited as the Board of Inquiry (Army) (Amendment) Rules 1989 and shall come into force on 31st March 1989.

Section 2Amendment to the Principal Rules

The Board of Inquiry (Army) Rules 1956 shall be amended in rule 13 by the deletion in paragraph (3)(a) of the words

and states as the ground of his objection either that he has no religious belief or that the taking of an oath is contrary to his religious belief,
