These Regulations may be cited as the Right To Purchase From A Public Sector Landlord (Application Form) (Scotland) Regulations 1989 and shall come into force on 3rd April 1989.

The Right To Purchase From A Public Sector Landlord (Application Form) (Scotland) Regulations 1989
In these Regulations:
“ the Act ” means the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988;
“applicant” means a person who has been approved by Scottish Homes under section 57 of the Act or, as the case may be, Scottish Homes; and
“public sector landlord” has the same meaning as in section 56(3) of the Act.
For the purposes of section 58(1) of the Act (which requires an applicant wishing to exercise the right conferred by Part III of the Act to acquire a house from a public sector landlord to serve a notice on that landlord), there is prescribed the notice in the form set out in the Schedule hereto or in a form substantially to the like effect.
