Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Home Loss Payment (Specification of Amount) (Scotland) Regulations 1989 and shall come into force on 1st April 1989.

Section 2

For section 28 of the Land Compensation (Scotland) Act 1973( ) there shall be substituted the following:—

(28) The amount of a home loss payment shall be £1,500.

Section 3

Section 30(4) of the Land Compensation (Scotland) Act 1973 is hereby repealed.

Section 4

The Home Loss Payments (Scotland) Order 1978( ) and the Home Loss Payments (Scotland) Order 1985( ) are hereby revoked.
