(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Welfare Food Amendment Regulations 1989 and shall come into force on 11th April 1989.
(2) In these Regulations “the principal Regulations ” means the Welfare Food Regulations 1988 .

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Welfare Food Amendment Regulations 1989 and shall come into force on 11th April 1989.
(2) In these Regulations “the principal Regulations ” means the Welfare Food Regulations 1988 .
In regulation 5(1) of the principal Regulations (purchase of welfare food) and in regulation 10(2) of the principal Regulations (inability to purchase dried milk at a reduced price) for “£2.55” in each place where it occurs, there shall be substituted “£2.70”.
In regulation 6 of the principal Regulations (use of milk, dried milk and vitamins) for “regulation 4.” there shall be substituted
regulation 4; or
in the case of milk, the person for whom it was obtained is a child under 30 weeks old being suckled by its mother, in which case the milk may be consumed by the mother.
In Schedule 1 to the principal Regulations, after the entry relating to Cow and Gate Premium there shall be inserted–
