Section 1 Citation and commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (General Dental Services) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1989 and shall come into force on 1st May 1989.

Section 2 Amendment of Regulations

Regulation 36 of the National Health Service (General Dental Services) (Scotland) Regulations 1974( ) (amount and time of payments in consequence of suspension) shall be amended as follows:—

(a) in paragraph (1)(a)(i) for “£1,935” there shall be substituted “£2,243” ;

(b) in paragraph (1)(a)(ii) for “£967” there shall be substituted “£1,121” ;

(c) in paragraph (1)(b)(i) for “£967” there shall be substituted “£1,121” ;

(d) in paragraph (1)(b)(ii) for “£1,935” there shall be substituted “£2,243” ; and

(e) in paragraph (2) for “£107,103” in both places where it occurs there shall be substituted “£117,689” .
