Section 1

These regulations may be cited as the Measuring Instruments (EEC Requirements) (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 1989 and shall come into force on 30th April 1989.

Section 2

The Measuring Instruments (EEC Requirements) (Fees) Regulations 1988 are hereby amended as follows–

(a) in regulation 3(2), for “£24.20” there shall be substituted “£26.20”, and the words from “except that” to the end shall be omitted;

(b) in paragraph (a) of Schedule 2, for “£41.20” there shall be substituted “£44.60”; and

(c) in paragraph 1(1)(a) of Schedule 3, for “£34.40”, “£28.00” and “£10.40” there shall be substituted respectively “£37.20”, “£30.20” and “£11.20”.
