These Regulations may be cited as the Meters (Certification) (Fees) Regulations 1989 and shall come into force on 1st June 1989.

The Meters (Certification) (Fees) Regulations 1989
(1) The fee to be paid to the Secretary of State by the holder of an authorisation under section 50A(2) of the 1899 Schedule towards administrative expenses incurred by him by virtue of section 50A of the 1899 Schedule shall be increased from 15 pence to 16 pence for each meter certified.
(2) For the purposes of this Regulation–
“the 1899 Schedule” means the Schedule to the Electric Lighting (Clauses) Act 1899 as incorporated with the Electricity Act 1947; and
“meter certified” means a meter certified under section 50 of the 1899 Schedule.
The Meters (Certification) (Fees) Regulations 1988 are hereby revoked.
