Section 1Citation and commencement
These Regulations may be cited as the Community Charges (Notification of Deaths) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1989 and shall come into force on 30th May 1989.

Section 2Interpretation
In these Regulations, “the principal Regulations ” means the Community Charges (Notification of Deaths) (Scotland) Regulations 1988( ).
Section 3Amendment of definition of registrar
In regulation 2 of the principal Regulations for the words “the district registrar for each registration district” there shall be substituted “, in respect of a death registered in any registration district, the district registrar for that district” .
