Section 1Citation and commencement
This Order may be cited as the Financial Services (Disclosure of Information) (Designated Authorities) (No.5) Order 1989 and shall come into force on 7th June 1989.

The Financial Services (Disclosure of Information) (Designated Authorities) (No.5) Order 1989
Section 2Designation of authorities and specification of functions
For the purposes of section 180 of the Financial Services Act 1986 and section 449 of the Companies Act 1985–
(a) the Charity Commissioners are designated as authorities in relation to their functions under the Charities Act 1960 ; and
(b) the Attorney-General is designated as an authority in relation to his functions in connection with charities.
