Section 1

These Regulations may be cited as the Heavy Goods Vehicles (Drivers' Licences) (Amendment) Regulations 1990 and shall come into force on 18th June 1990.

Section 2

The Heavy Goods Vehicles (Drivers' Licences) Regulations 1977 shall be amended in accordance with the following provisions of these Regulations.

Section 3

For Regulation 23 (Fees for tests) there shall be substituted the following Regulation:

Fees for tests

(23) The fee payable by a person who applies for a test to be conducted by an examiner appointed under Regulation 18(1)(a) is

(a) £42 if the application is made before 18th June 1990; and

(b) £45 if the application is made on or after that date.
