Section 1Citation and commencement

(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Local Government Superannuation (Scotland) Amendment ( No. 2) Regulations 1990 and shall come into force on 20th July 1990.

Section 2Interpretation

In these Regulations “the principal Regulations ” means the Local Government Superannuation (Scotland) Regulations 1987 .

Section 3Death Gratuity

In regulation E11 of the principal Regulations, in paragraph (7), after the formula
there shall be added the words
in the case of a person who ceased to be in reckonable service before 20th July 1990 and
in any other case.
