Section 1 Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Revenue Support Grant (Scotland) Order 1989 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is approved by a resolution of the House of Commons.

Section 2 Interpretation

In this Order–

“the 1988 Order ” means the Revenue Support Grant (Scotland) Order 1988 .

Section 3 Revenue support grants for 1989-90

The amount of revenue support grant payable to each local authority set out in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order in respect of the financial year 1989-90 shall be the amount redetermined in relation to that local authority set out in column 2 of that Schedule opposite the name of that local authority.

Section 4 Revocation

The 1988 Order (which determined the amount of revenue support grant payable to each local authority in respect of the financial year 1989-90) is hereby revoked.
