The new highway which the Secretary of State proposes to construct along the route described in the Schedule to this Order which connects the Trunk Road with another highway at the places stated in that schedule (the highway along this route being in this Order referred to as “the slip road”) shall become a trunk road as from the date when this Order comes into force.

The Leicester-Great Yarmouth Trunk Road (A47) (Etling Green Junction Improvement Slip Road) Order 1990
The centre line of the slip road is indicated by a heavy black line on the deposited plan.
In this Order —
(i) “the deposited plan” means the plan numbered HA10 2E 296 marked “The Leicester-Great Yarmouth Trunk Road (A47) (Etling Green Junction Improve-ment Slip Road)Order 1990”, signed by autho-rity of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY;
(ii) “the Trunk Road” means the Leicester-Great Yarmouth Trunk Road (A47).
This Order shall come into force on 17th July 1990 and may be cited as the Leicester-Great Yarmouth Trunk Road (A47) (Etling Green Junction Improvement Slip Road) Order 1990.
