Section 1

This Order may be cited as the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 (Commencement No. 8 and Transitional Provisions) (Amendment) Order 1990.

Section 2

The Local Government and Housing Act 1989 (Commencement No. 8 and Transitional Provisions) Order 1990 is hereby amended —

(a) in article 3 by the omission of the words “sections 67 to 72 in so far as they are not alreadyin force” and “section 73”;

(b) in article 3 by the substitution of the words “section 194(1) in so far as it relates to paragraphs 28(1) and (2) in so far as it confers a power to make regulations on the Secretary of State, 52, 63, 66 to 69, 90 and 91 of Schedule 11” for the words “section 194(1) in so far as it relates to paragraphs 3, 21, 28(1) and (2) in so far as it confers a power to make regulations onthe Secretary of State, 52, 63, 66 to 69, 90, 91 and 97 of Schedule 11”; and

(c) in the Schedule by the omission of paragraph 1.
