Section 1 Title and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Charge Limitation (England) (Maximum Amount) (No. 3) Order 1990 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

Section 2 Interpretation

In this Order “ the Act ” means the Local Government Finance Act 1988.

Section 3 Maximum amounts

The amount which the amount calculated by an authority shown in Schedule 1 to this Order in relation to the year beginning with 1st April 1990 under section 95(4) of the Act is not to exceed is the amount shown against the name of the authority in that Schedule, which amount does not in the case of any such authority exceed the amount already calculated by the authority in relation to that year under the said section 95(4).

Section 4 Maximum amounts

The amount which the aggregate amount of precepts issued by an authority shown in Schedule 2 to this Order for the year beginning with 1st April 1990 is not to exceed is the amount shown against the name of the authority in that Schedule, which amount does not in the case of any such authority exceed the aggregate amount of precepts already issued by the authority for that year.
